Be among the conquerors of one of the highest mountain in South East Asia - Mount Kinabalu. Estimated 4095.2 meter above sea level, standing on top looking at the landmass of Crocker Range is also known as the youngest non-volcanic mountain in the world. The challenge will need your strength and passion to overcome the steep and slippery rainforest. Feel the breeze and enjoy the refreshing cool mountain-air while trekking to some different vegetation zones from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine type of vegetation. A spectacular sunrise awaits you once you make a final step to the summit of Mount Kinabalu. The best place to capture the highest point between the Himalayans and Irian Jaya.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1
Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to Kinabalu Park headquarters for 1 ½ hours drive. En-route passing by the villages and a panoramic vista of the valleys of the Crocker Range. On the arrival, register at the Kinabalu Park Headquarter and thereafter proceed to Timpohon Gate for 6km ascent to Laban Rata Rest house. Overnight at Laban Rata Rest house OR similar.

Day 2
Early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Kinabalu. Upon reaching the summit (Low's Peak) an opportunity to take photographs on the highest point between the Himalayans and Irian Jaya. Retrace route back to Laban Rata Rest house for breakfast and onward descent to Timpohon gate where transport will take you to the Kinabalu Park Headquarter to collect your achievement certificate. Lunch provided and follow by return transfer to Kota Kinabalu.
